“Outlook on Climate and Nature for Asia” is organised by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore's National Climate Change Secretariat to spotlight emerging issues of interest for Asia at the nature-climate nexus ahead of the COP28 climate conference in Dubai.

The region is rich in natural capital which both governments and the corporate sector are keen to unlock. At the same time, nature loss could also erode climate action for the region and affect sectors such as agriculture and forestry that are directly related to land use. The forward-looking nature of science can also help in identifying potential opportunities and risks around the corner – which is the aim of the symposium.
